The Meiwa is a rare variety of Kumquat. It’s appearance is similar to the Nagami Kumquat in appearance, but the rind is thicker and the fruit has an overall sweeter flavor. The entire sweet sour fruit can be eaten whole, rind and all! The rind also has a little spice to it, making this one unique and tasty citrus! Meiwa Kumquat’s are semi-dwarf and cold hardy.
