The inside of fresh Red Dragon Fruit is dark pink with a juicy texture and sweet tropical flavor. The dense pink flesh is speckled with tiny, black, edible seeds – think kiwi. The inside of a ripe dragon fruit should appear juicy yet firm in texture, like a cross between a melon and a pear.

Dragon fruit is surprisingly simple to prepare and can be eaten by itself (just cut in half and grab a spoon!) or added to smoothies and salads.
